<div><p>Join Abbott’s innovative <b>Heart Failure (HF) business</b>, where we are committed to transforming patient outcomes through cutting‑edge cardiovascular technologies.</p><p>We are seeking a passionate and driven commercial professional to support the growth, adoption, and clinical excellence of our Heart Failure portfolio and especially the CardioMEMs expansion.</p><p><b>Therapy Development Manager</b> is a brand new role in our Heart Failure division who will cover the South UK.</p><p><b>Ideal location : Oxford, Hanley-On-Thames area</b></p><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><p>In this field‑based role covering the South UK region, you will support Abbott’s Heart Failure portfolio, including Chronic MCS (LVAD), CardioMEMS, and short‑term MCS/ECMO. You will deliver technical, clinical, educational, and commercial support to ensure safe adoption, market growth, and strong customer engagement across implanting centres and referral networks.</p><ul><li>Driving therapy and market development by supporting strategic implanting centres and educating referring physicians on LVADs, short‑term support, and CardioMEMS.</li><li>Developing and delivering Heart Failure education programmes for the UK&I market.</li><li>Managing key accounts, including physicians, KOLs, and procurement teams.</li><li>Providing procedure support in Cath Labs and Operating Theatres.</li><li>Communicating Abbott’s Heart Failure value proposition through coordinated internal and external messaging.</li><li>Collaborating with European colleagues on strategy, best practice, and marketing initiatives.</li><li>Supporting cross‑divisional activities to maximise opportunities across the portfolio.</li><li>Delivering implant forecasting, market intelligence, and maintaining strong referral networks.</li></ul><h3>What You’ll Need</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.</li><li>A comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.</li><li>Ability to work with others effectively.</li><li>Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications.</li><li>Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures.</li><li>Documented record of delivering strategic marketing information.</li><li>Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.</li><li>Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as Microsoft Office.</li><li>This position requires a considerable amount of business travel.</li><li>Professional training/education certification or designation.</li><li>Field sales experience required.</li><li>Clinical experience in a sales environment preferred.</li></ul><p>At Abbott, we are committed to your ongoing development and progression and we will ensure you receive the very best training and support to enable your success.
