Role: General Housing Assistant - Domestic
Location: Havant
Contract: Perm,6 hrs p/w (2 x shifts p/w) Can combine with another role to increase hours
The Abbeyfield Society are a national charity helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation in older people by providing companionship in our supported housing accommodation, retirement apartments and care homes.

This is a varied role, the main tasks of a General Housing Assistant include:
1. Ensure communal areas are clean and tidy
2. Assist with meal preparation and serving
3. Ensuring food stores and maintained with stock rotation
4. Promote wellbeing of residents
5. Opportunity to cook/bake on occasion to cover Cook (to be discussed further at interview)
