Pay: £12.21 - £12.55 per hour (depending on experience) *plus accrued holiday pay Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Zero hour contract - this gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs. Location: hdc Nursery Dartington, Brimhay, Gidleys Meadow, Dartington, Devon, TQ9 6JZ About our Nursery Our Dartington Nursery is situated in a quiet residential area and a short drive from the A38, with easy access from places like Ivybridge, Ashburton and Buckfastleigh. Parking is available outside the nursery for the team. We encourage outdoor learning whenever possible and aim to pass on a love of the outdoors, teaching them how to care for their world and environment. Children can experience planting, growing, harvesting, and food-to-plate so they know where their food comes from. Using resources from our outdoor area, children can welcome guests to their bug hotel. What Your Role Involves As a valued member of our team, you’ll: Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
