We keep pushing boundaries, whether that’s in the brewhouse, with sustainability, or in the great outdoors.Get to Know This RoleThe Indirect Procurement Specialist is a mid-level position in the Procurement function within Supply Chain at Sierra Nevada Brewing. Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, this role will be key in supporting Indirect Procurement. Responsible for supporting all aspects of indirect goods and services for both Chico and Mills River breweries.What's In It For YouWe’re committed to our employees and work hard to prove it. This position is full time on-site in Chico, CA. Remote or hybrid options are not available.

What You Will Do
1. Identify and implement indirect procurement projects that enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve the performance of indirect goods and services.
2. Develop, execute, and manage the procurement portfolio using best practices, including strategic procurement strategies, contract and payment term negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
3. Execute RFP/RFQ, NDA, supplier performance evaluations, quarterly business review, audits, order creations, and supplier onboarding (including new supplier set-up in the system).
4. Conduct market analysis to uncover cost-saving opportunities and supplier innovations.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
6. Evaluate and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability.
7. Ensure suppliers comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical procurement practices.
8. Assess and mitigate supply chain risks to protect business continuity.
9. Collaborate with the Senior Indirect Buyer to develop and monitor the supplier auditing program.
10. Gain in-depth knowledge of products and suppliers to drive continuous improvement within theprocurement portfolio.
11. Responsible for developing and maintaining Indirect Procurement department’s policies and procedures.
12. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Indirect Procurement Department on SNBC’s ERP system.

13. Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, business administration or technical field required OR any combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, abilities have been achieved required
14. 3 years Indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management required
15. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with advanced skill in Excel.
16. Power BI experience a plus.
17. Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g. ERP/MRP).
18. Strong interpersonal and communications skills to influence stakeholders and build relationships.
19. Excellent analytical capability required.
20. Exceptional organizational skills required.
21. Strong negotiation and contract management skills required.
22. Flexible, anticipate and adjust readily to new situations while effectively dealing with ambiguity, stress, and uncertainty.
23. Demonstrates the mental agility to acquire new concepts rapidly and has an aptitude for learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge.
24. Demonstrates ability to work independently to achieve desired results.
25. APICS Production and Inventory Management Certificate preferred
26. Certified Professional in Supply Management preferred
27. Certified Professional Contract Manager preferred
