Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently seeking to recruit an on-site Maintenance Electrician to work at HM Prison Gartree Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, 08.00 17.00 with an hour earlier finish every Friday. There is a need to work 1 in 3 weekends, but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).
Duties:
1. Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met across the contract
2. Testing and inspecting electrical installations in line with current IET wiring regulations
3. Responding promptly to breakdowns, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
4. Performing planned and preventative electrical maintenance and diagnosing/replacing failed domestic electrical components
5. Actively fault finding and problem solving on domestic electrical systems
6. Undertaking electrical installation activities according to provided designs and IET Wiring Regulations
7. Monitoring and ordering critical spares for all electrical services, and oversee the BMS System
