Spherical Search is proud to partner with a global leader in glass manufacturing—a multi-billion-dollar innovator with a thriving pharmaceutical division.
They’re scaling their North American sales presence for prefillable glass syringes, and we’re seeking a Business Development Manager to drive this expansion.
This is a remote role with strategic travel across the territory to engage key clients and unlock new opportunities.
Your Contribution
* Develop and document in-depth market information regarding the North America (N/A) prefilled glass syringe segment; understand and analyze customer information, market conditions, and competitors.
* Drive growth of the N/A prefilled glass syringe segment through new and existing customers, obtain required project information, and develop action plans to support from early-phase clinical development through commercial supply.
* Interface with customers to understand their needs for primary packaging material, identify new business opportunities, and promote the technical specifications and features of the company’s pre-fillable product portfolio.
* Stay current on all product aspects, including glass and polymer containers and requirements; serve as the subject matter expert on pre-fillable syringes.
* Cultivate business relationships with internal Sales, Product Management, and R&D teams; provide training, technical support, and product consulting where applicable.
* Support sales budget preparation and provide long-term project-based forecasts.
* Attend trade shows and fairs to enhance business relationships and company branding.
* Monitor and analyze emerging market segments and applications.
* Report project progress monthly to management.
Your Profile
* BS or Master's Degree in Bioscience, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in business development (technical or sales-related) within a B2B environment for an international organization.
* Ability to work in a matrix-structured organization.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent analytical thinking.
* Team player with a results-driven mindset.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Willingness to travel >50%.
* Self-motivated and proactive.
