Working within a key team here at Horder Healthcare, we have an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate Chef de Partie to join our experienced catering team. Supporting the Corporate Catering Manager and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring that the food is prepared and served to a high-quality and standard, assist with the menu planning and preparation, plus much more, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to grow with their career within a professional and rewarding environment. Based from The Horder Centre, Crowborough, this is a full-time, permanent role, working on a Monday to Sunday shift basis. Early shifts are from 7am to 3pm with later shifts being from 10:30pm - 6.30pm. Weekend shifts range between the hours of 6.30am to 6.30pm and are paid at an enhanced rate. About you: City & Guilds 706 Level 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent C.I.E.H. Level 2 Food Safety Certificate. Prior experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent communication skills, to help build those all-important and respected relationships with our patients and your colleagues. Exposure to menu planning, with a keen interest in current food and dietary trends. Proactive and forward thinking, with a passion for continued learning.
