We're looking for an incredibly talented Team Lead to join our growing Customer Operations team. You'll be expected to lead your team independently, take full ownership of its results, communicate effectively across the organization, and be passionate about our goals. You will lead from the front, influencing, motivating, and inspiring your team.
What you'll do...
1. Manage a team of up to 10 customer operations specialists to deliver an exceptional customer journey from start to finish.
2. Oversee daily operations including team management, reporting, building relationships with third parties, and ensuring industry compliance.
3. Enable your team to deliver outstanding service and meet ambitious targets.
4. Coach and develop your team members, fostering their growth and making Octopus a fulfilling workplace.
5. Identify process improvements and collaborate with stakeholders on action plans.
6. Support onboarding and recruitment to expand the team.
7. Model and embody our company culture and values.
8. Handle escalations and customer complaints effectively.
9. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively is essential.
10. Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to drive team performance.
11. Create a supportive environment that brings out the best in your team.
12. Be resilient and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, changing environment.
13. Proactively take ownership of problems and solutions.
14. Knowledge of EVs or the automotive industry is a bonus but not required.
