Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school community in East Grinstead. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm .
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering lessons and supporting students in their learning
* Work closely with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Provide tailored support to individuals or small groups of students
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
* Support the class teacher in managing classroom activities and behaviour
* Maintain open communication with parents and staff about student progress
Requirements:
* Experience working with children, preferably with SEN students
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
* A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach
* Experience with classroom management is beneficial
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
