Assistant nursery manager

Winner Education are seeking an experienced Assistant Nursery Manager to support the leadership of a thriving nursery in Leeds , helping to ensure children receive exceptional care and early years education. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to lead and develop a dedicated team, maintain the highest standards of care and compliance, and create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can flourish.

Key Responsibilities: Support the Nursery Manager in leading, motivating, and developing nursery staff to deliver outstanding care and education.
Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding requirements.
Assist with the effective management of nursery resources, occupancy, and budgets.
Build positive relationships with parents, staff, and the local community.
Support staff development, supervision, and training.
Help drive continuous improvement across the nursery setting.
Maintain a safe, calm, and well-organised environment for all children.
Act as the Nursery Manager in their absence.
Requirements: Level 3 childcare qualification (NNEB, BTEC, CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
Previous experience as an Assistant Nursery Manager , Room Leader, or Senior Practitioner.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A proactive and positive approach to supporting nursery operations.
Passion for early years education and child development.
