The role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Driver to join a busy and friendly team in Bletchley. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with local driving responsibilities, offering stable hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful 12-week temporary period.
Key Responsibilities as a
Warehouse Operative / Driver- Collecting deliveries from a local store
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Stock handling and general warehouse support such as picking and packing
- Driving a company vehicle for local collections and deliveries
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
This role involves approximately 50% warehouse duties and 50% driving.
Working Hours as a
Warehouse Operative / DriverRotating shifts:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM (12 Saturdays per month)
Requirements as a warehouse operative/driver
- Full UK Driving Licence-Cat B
- Must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
