About the Role
We’re seeking an energetic and strategic National Account Manager to lead one of our key customer relationships within the UK grocery sector. You will be responsible for creating and executing winning joint business plans, fostering strong relationships with buyers and category teams, and driving growth through innovative category management, negotiation, and business development. Your role will encompass forecast accuracy, profit management, and project delivery, all aligned with our overarching commercial strategy, to maximise market share, sales volume, and profitability across your accounts.
Lead responsibility for one of the Top 4 Grocery accounts
Develop effective strategic relationships at all levels within customer businesses
Negotiate pricing, terms, and joint business plans to optimise growth
Manage full P&L responsibilities, including forecasting, budgeting, and sales analysis
Drive new listings, promotional activities, and NPD initiatives
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics, and operations
Maintain comprehensive administrative records and support key projects
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a National Account Manager or similar role within FMCG, ideally within grocery
Strong understanding of the UK grocery trade and category management
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with strong administrative and project management abilities
Energetic, motivated, and commercially astute with a passion for growth
Ability to build outstanding relationships and influence at all levels
Degree qualification or equivalent
