The Opportunity An established international manufacturing business is seeking a Finance Director / Financial Controller to lead its finance function across two UK sites.
The company operates in a global import/export environment, supplying specialist manufactured products to customers worldwide. Based in Leicestershire, the role will also take responsibility for financial oversight of a second facility in Hampshire .
This position offers the opportunity to operate as the senior finance leader, working closely with the leadership team to drive performance, strengthen financial controls and support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities Lead the finance function across two UK sites, ensuring robust financial control and reporting
Produce management accounts, forecasts and strategic financial analysis
Manage multi-currency operations, FX exposure and working capital performance
Oversee VAT, duties and financial compliance relating to international trade
Act as a business partner to senior leadership, supporting operational and strategic decision-making
Skills & Experience Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Experience operating at Financial Controller or Finance Director level within manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors
Strong experience in international trading environments, multi-currency operations and import/export
Track record of partnering with operational teams and supporting business growth
Hands-on leadership style suited to an SME or mid-sized organisation
