We are seeking a dedicated and early years leader for ou Toddler unit. This role is to care for children creating a safe and welcoming environment ensuring they learn through The siccessful candidate must be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a passion for early childhood education. You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, guiding staff, and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support staff during shifts to ensure effective operation and adherence to policies.
* Foster a positive and engaging environment for children, promoting their development and well-being.
* Coordinate daily activities and schedules, ensuring that all children receive appropriate attention and care.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised space for both children and staff.
* Assist in training new staff members on best practices in childcare and early childhood education.
* Handle any emergencies or incidents according to established protocols.
Skills
* Proven management experience with strong leadership capabilities.
* Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to drive is an advantage for transporting children or materials as needed.

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
