About GSTT Pharmacy B5 Rotational Programme
Come and join us at GSTT! We have an exciting opportunity to join a newly established and refreshed B5 rotational programme. You will be given opportunities to work within dedicated teams, consisting of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants to provide a comprehensive service to all areas within the pharmacy department. As part of the programme, you will rotate through core areas of the department and also some newly developed rotations. You will join us as we embark on the delivery of our new Pharmacy 2030 strategy, with members of the Pharmacy Technician team being integral to innovative ways of providing patient care.
You will need to be able to participate in the bank holiday and weekend working rota which will include seven day working and late duty support.

However, you will be an active, enthusiastic member of the rotational programme, participating in MMPT duties in various specialties including but not limited to Surgery, Cardiology and Oncology and Intensive care wards. You will spend time interacting with patients, doctors and nurses at ward level enabling you to deliver a bespoke service counselling patients, supporting the education and training of others and delivering the best patient care. You’ll also get the opportunity to rotate through other areas such as Clinical Trials to support and develop your knowledge of how medicines move from the "bench to the bedside".
You will also work alongside our teams in patient services, in both adult and paediatric teams at the Guys and St Thomas' sites and the Evelina London Children's hospital to ensure that patients get the right medicines, at the right time using our newly implemented Patient Electronic Record, EPIC system.
