About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic technical sales team as a Key Account Manager focused on composites and associated chemical materials. This home-based role covers the UK with a particular focus on the aerospace and defence manufacturing sectors.
We’re looking for a driven, consultative sales professional with strong knowledge of composite materials, customer account management, and a technical mindset to support clients from proposal to post-sale.
Key Responsibilities
* Grow sales revenue and market share in aerospace and advanced manufacturing sectors
* Build, manage, and retain strategic customer relationships
* Act as a technical advisor on composite materials, adhesives, and chemical solutions
* Regular UK-wide travel to client sites, trade shows, and company locations
* Create tailored proposals, presentations, and quotations to win business
* Maintain accurate CRM and market intelligence on key accounts
* Collaborate closely with operations and customer service to ensure quality delivery
About You
* Strong working knowledge of composite materials and their applications in aerospace
* Experience managing technical sales cycles or key accounts
* Familiar with industry regulations, environmental standards, and specifications
* Comfortable working autonomously with a self-starter attitude
* Confident presenting to engineers, buyers, and senior stakeholders

* £60,000 – £65,000 base salary
* 10% bonus (up to 25% for overperformance)
