Contract: 6 months initially, with potential extension until October 2026 About the Role TXM are looking for 4 experienced Panel Wirers to join an established engineering team working on rail units within a modern manufacturing and refurbishment environment. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for skilled electrical professionals who take pride in high-quality, safety-critical work. Youll be responsible for wiring and assembling electrical panels, looms, and harnesses to rail industry standards, ensuring each system meets quality and compliance requirements before being fitted to rolling stock units. Key Responsibilities Wiring and assembling electrical panels and control systems to engineering schematics Installing components such as relays, switches, contactors, and terminal blocks for rail units Carrying out continuity and insulation testing to verify system integrity Working to precise safety and quality standards in a rail engineering environment Liaising with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion What Were Looking For Proven experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Fitter, or Electrical Assembler ideally within rail, automotive, aerospace, or similar precision engineering industries Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics accurately Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Awareness of health, safety, and rail compliance standards Ability to work independently or as part of a small technical team Additional Information Retention Bonus: £1.00 per hour retention bonus is included in the hourly rate and will be paid only upon successful completion of the full contract term.
