As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your designated section within the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene, You'll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and present dishes within your section in accordance with the restaurants standards.
* Manage and train junior kitchen staff and ensure smooth operation of your section.
* Assist in stock control and ensure all food items are stored correctly.
* Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to create and update the menu.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Assist with ordering and inventory management for your section.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie.
* Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety and hygiene standards.
* Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environments.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Passion for food, cooking and creativity in the kitchen.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Culinary degree or equivalent qualification preferred, but not essential.
