Care Home Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)
Job Overview: This post is fixed‑term, up to 14 months, to meet the needs of the service. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Care Home Pharmacy Technician to join our innovative Primary Care Home team.

Main Duties
* Support the safe use of medicines in Care Homes and improve medicines management.
* Support training needs in Care Homes and produce learning materials.
* Facilitate seamless access to medications for care home residents across various health services.
* Support the Care Home Pharmacist with the provision of clinical reviews for Care Home residents.
* Facilitate the use of ONPOS within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
* Promote high‑quality, cost‑effective prescribing.
Language Requirements
Proficiency in Welsh is desirable, but English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Professional Qualifications and Registration
Essential Criteria:
* Registered Pharmacy Technician.
* Relevant pharmacy technician qualification.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience in care homes.
* Understanding of primary/secondary care.
Skills
Essential Criteria:
* Excellent communication skills.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience of delivering education.
