Your Role
* Own the vision and influence the team to ensure that the client receives high-impact value from each iteration.
* Understand business needs, IT constraints and priorities, own the backlog, and make decisions with the BA to ensure it is correct.
* Act as a client‑facing presence in a cross‑functional agile squad, communicating clearly at sprint reviews and supporting other squad members such as the BA or Service Designers.
* Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, ensuring clear communication and effective teamwork.
* Support discovery and experimentation activities, exploring emerging technologies such as AI to solve user problems, improve service outcomes or create measurable value.
* Collaborate with data, architecture, engineering and AI specialists to translate AI‑enabled ideas into clear backlog items, user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Help test and validate AI‑enabled features through prototypes, pilots or experiments, using user feedback and evidence to inform future product decisions.
Role Contributions
* Business Development – leading or contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch, and client hosting at events.
* Internal Contribution – campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development, and offering development.
* Learning & Development – training and certifications to support career development and meet the skill demand within the company.
Your Profile
* Experience contributing to a user‑centred product or service development project.
* Experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards and design principles.
* Experience working in secure environments and understanding the constraints and delivery considerations of security clearance.
* Good knowledge of agile delivery and a collaborative approach with cross‑functional business and teams.
* Ability to make decisions based on business priority and ensure requirements are known, defined and ready for delivery.
* Willingness to support the wider team and step into adjacent activities within a cross‑skilled squad model.
* Awareness and curiosity about how generative AI, large language models and related technologies can be applied to real user and business problems.
* Willingness to learn how AI‑enabled products are designed, tested, delivered and improved in live environments.
