Overview
Responsibilities
* Manage the full sales process for Astec parts, including part identification, quoting and sourcing, international freight coordination (inbound/outbound), and order completion and invoicing.
* Create recommended spare parts lists for customers and machines.
* Develop factory stocking plans for new product introductions (NPI) from testing to launch.
* Analyse sales history to build stocking plans for European dealers and end users.
* Maintain and update planned spares inventory levels to improve fill rates and delivery times.
* Localise spare parts supply for non-domestically produced units where feasible.
* Update ERP system with supplier, customer, and part data.
* Meet with customers to present recommended parts packages confidently.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in equipment parts sales.
* Experience working with ERP systems.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
* Strong technical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and within a team.
* Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
* Confident and articulate in meetings and presentations.
Desirable criteria
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Ability to use 3D drawing software to view and explode machine models.
* Experience creating spare parts stocking plans for new machine models.
* Experience working within the Materials Processing or Crushing and Screening industry.
* Experience sourcing crushing and screening spare parts, specifically wear items such as manganese.
