Job Description
An experienced Housing Advice, Prevention, and Homelessness Receptionist who can hit the ground running. The candidate will be part of the Housing Advice & Options Reception desk, completing triage assessments and carrying out prevention and relief work.
Knowledge of Part VII Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act, and other relevant legislation is required, along with experience in homelessness inquiries, casework, and drafting s184 decision letters.
The candidate must demonstrate good customer service skills and practical experience delivering services in a pressured Housing Options environment.
This role is office-based, with office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The induction period typically lasts two to four weeks, depending on the level of competency.
