🚀 Business Development Director | PropTech Scale-Up | London | £130k OTE
Lead sales for one of PropTech's most exciting platform launches in 2025.
We’re a fast‑growing PropTech company rebuilding our 4D data visualisation platform from the ground up. We need a Business Development Director to drive commercial success and scale our sales function from 1 to 7 people by the end of 2027.
đź’° The Package
* Up to £90k base + uncapped commission (realistic Year 1 OTE £130k)
* Location: London (minimum 2 days /week in office)
* Equity: EMI share scheme after 1 year
* Growth: Build and lead a 7‑person team by 2027
🎯 What Success Looks Like
First 6 Weeks
Conduct a comprehensive sales process diagnostic and provide clear recommendations.
By Month 6
Reduce sales cycles, increase ACV, and establish a qualified pipeline in 2+ new verticals (asset management, real‑estate agencies, insurers).
By Year 1
Hit your new business target, recruit at least one high‑performing BDM, and embed scalable processes.
By the End of 2027
Lead a 7‑person sales function hitting targets consistently with repeatable processes.

You’ll need to:
* Diagnose and fix sales processes independently
* Open new markets where a pipeline doesn’t exist yet
* Balance strategy with execution daily
* Navigate complex multi‑stakeholder SaaS sales with C‑suite buyers
* Understand and sell geospatial technology You should have experience with GIS, mapping platforms, or location‑based data solutions.
* Build and scale teams from 1 to 7 without dropping quality
* Lead by example while giving your team space to grow
This role is for people who can work independently. We seek proven performers who understand the value of geospatial data and can clearly explain it to various types of buyers.
Strong advantage: Built‑environment industry knowledge (urban planning, real estate, architecture, infrastructure).
