2nd Line Compliance Specialist | up to £55k

Are you someone who thrives on providing real value through compliance and building trusted partnerships across the business? If you know the regulatory ropes and want to help shape how a business meets its Consumer Duty head-on – we want to hear from you.
You’ll
* Deliver risk-based 2LoD compliance monitoring as part of our Compliance Plan.
* Conduct audits, risk assessments, and assurance reviews with a sharp eye and balanced judgment.
* Influence the business on control improvements and risk mitigation.
* Champion a culture of compliance and customer-centric conduct risk management.
* Play a pivotal role in FCA engagements, including thematic reviews and regulatory visits.
* Produce clear, insightful reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
You’ll Bring
* A QCF Level 4 DipFA or DipPFS (or equivalent).
* Hands-on experience in 2LoD compliance within financial services.
* Deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape, including FCA Handbooks (COBS, SYSC, T&C, etc.), Consumer Duty, data protection, and financial crime frameworks.
* Strong communication skills – you can challenge with diplomacy and influence with credibility.
* A collaborative mindset – you\'re comfortable advising senior stakeholders and working in partnership across departments.
