Summary
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our IT and Digital Services team in a key role at the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).
Job Description
Having been through a significant period of growth, our next step is to review how we can get the most out of our business processes. The IT Business Analyst will play a key role in this, evaluating our business processes, identifying workflow processes and ensuring we’re making effective use of digital technology. The role will require working across the business, including supporting the Project Management Office. You will be responsible for determining and implementing future requirements through the analysis and review of systems and business processes, including input into detailed design phases for projects, as well as identifying areas for improvements and efficiencies leading through to business case recommendations. The initial focus will be the comprehensive review of our digital processes and workflows for M365 Dynamics, developing recommendations regarding process improvements, undertaking business process reviews and working closely with process owners. You will support change management, assessing impact, supporting end‑users and producing UAT plans, as well as horizon scanning for new ways of working to improve our business processes.
Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you should have strong knowledge of business modelling, mapping, change and analysis with proven IT business process analysis experience. You will have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and will be a critical thinker, with a proactive approach and the ability to analyse complex processes, identify patterns and provide actionable insights and improvements.
Location
We operate a hybrid model of working with a mix of office and home working, as well as offering a range of flexible working arrangements. This role can be based out of RSH’s core offices in Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. The role will involve some travel within England between our offices, including onsite visits to social housing providers.
Benefits and Salary
At RSH, we offer a competitive salary along with a range of excellent benefits. The salary for this role is a spot salary within the given range, which will normally be the minimum of the range. There is no incremental progression through a pay scale. Annual salary reviews are determined by the government pay award.
Eligibility
Candidates must have valid right to work in the UK, as unfortunately we are unable to provide sponsorship and must also meet the requirements outlined in the Civil Service Nationality Rules. This role also requires candidates to be eligible for SC clearance.
Equal Opportunity
Our anonymous shortlisting process helps to ensure fair and consistent recruitment decisions, based solely on skills and experience. We are a Disability Confident Employer and shortlist those who best meet the minimum criteria as part of our commitment. We are passionate about building a diverse and inclusive workplace, where everyone feels valued and respected and has the opportunity to thrive. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, beliefs, identities and life experiences, recognising that varied perspectives enrich our organisation.
