$35 – $44 per hour (Subject to experience)
Aotea Security requires the services of 2 qualified Security installation and servicing technicians to join our rapidly growing, progressive and innovative team. Core duties will involve installing and servicing alarms, access and CCTV (IP and analogue) systems for our clients throughout the Canterbury region.
Remuneration will be in line with your expertise and skill set. This will include: a vehicle, laptop, phone, continual training and a competitive wage rate of between $35.00 and $44.00 per hour with O/T.
The successful applicant should have -
Experience:
Knowledgeable with software based access control and intruder systems a pre-requisite.
Considerable experience with security, CCTV and access control
Knowledgeable in smaller systems such as Paradox, DSC, Bosch, Micron and other basic panels an advantage
Skill:
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Adept at reading and interpreting technical documentation and plans.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
A high standard of quality
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
* 2 Years minimum commercial experience in both Security and CCTV installations
* Gallagher experience preferred
* Current Security Guard’s Licence/ Police clearance
* Current Drivers Licence
* No criminal or civil convictions or record
* Ability to obtain (or have) a COA
* Ability to work in NZ
