Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Hays Education is urgently recruiting experienced and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to work across a range of mainstream and specialist secondary schools in Chesterfield.

�? Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs
* Help implement personalised behaviour and emotional support strategies
* Support classroom teachers in managing challenging behaviour and promoting engagement
* Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
* Work closely with pastoral teams, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Monitor and report on student progress and emotional wellbeing
?? Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEMH or behavioural support setting or working with vulnerable people, potentially in a healthcare setting
* Strong communication, empathy, and resilience
* A calm, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting students with complex needs
