Are you a Maths specialist looking for a new role? Is flexible working hours something that you are seeking? TP Tutors (Specialist Tuition Branch of Teaching Personnel) is looking for Maths tutors to support pupils outside of mainstream school education across Nottinghamshire, particularly Nottingham (NG22). We have been requested to find qualified Maths teachers and Maths tutors who can support students requiring additional tuition and intervention. You will have the opportunity to teach Maths to looked after children, low achieving students, and others. TP Tutors covers all of Nottinghamshire, so you will have Maths tutoring opportunities on a flexible basis matching your availability, whether one day or five days a week. The role is funded directly through Local authorities and Virtual schools, and tutors can make a significant impact on a young person’s educational experience by delivering regular targeted sessions in Mathematics.

Responsibilities
* Provide regular Maths tutoring to students outside mainstream schooling, including looked after children and other learners requiring additional support.
* Tutor on a flexible basis across Nottinghamshire, aligning sessions with availability (e.g., one day to five days per week).
* Deliver tuition with progress tracking and provide regular reports monitoring student progress.
* Support Local authority and Virtual school funding arrangements as applicable.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience delivering the Maths curriculum in the UK across KS3 and KS4.
* No Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required – prior tuition or tutoring experience is acceptable.
* Ability to provide regular progress reports on student attainment and development.
* Eligibility for a DBS check and suitable references; willing to apply for a DBS if not already held.
