Primary Function
Responsible for assisting with patient care in the Emergency Services department.
Responsibilities
* Transports patients between different hospital units.
* Ensures that supplies in the Emergency Services department are properly stocked.
* Administer CPR, check blood pressure, temperature or perform phlebotomy and electrocardiograms as needed.
* Ensure the emergency rooms are neat and orderly at all times.
* Adjust crutches for patients as necessary.
* Obtain food order from kitchen.
* Transport discharged patients via wheeled chair to car.
* Deliver specimens as needed.
* Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications and Specifications
Vocational/technical training and more than six months job‑related experience or equivalent is required. Nursing Assistant Certificate is also required.
