As our Configuration Manager, you will work with multiple teams to develop strategies and policies for the configuration management process. You will implement the agreed process, oversee its effectiveness, and monitor adherence to standards to ensure consistent execution across the organization.

What Will You Be Doing?
Configuration Management:
* Develop strategies, policies, and procedures.
* Identify, record, and track configuration items.
* Manage the lifecycle of configuration items from creation to retirement.
System Documentation:
* Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, including hardware, software, network components, cloud, and dependencies.
* Update records with changes.
Change Management:
* Work with Change Management team to assess impact.
* Plan, test, and implement changes with minimal disruption.
Monitoring & Auditing:
* Ensure compliance with policies and standards.
* Perform regular audits of the CMDB.
Incident & Problem Management:
* Identify root causes of incidents/problems related to configuration items.
* Support troubleshooting and resolution.
Automation & Optimization:
* Implement automation tools to streamline processes.
* Seek continuous improvements for performance, security, and reliability.
Collaboration & Communication:
* Coordinate with IT teams (operations, development, security).
* Provide training on best practices.
Security & Compliance:
* Ensure system compliance with security policies and regulations.
* Implement controls to prevent unauthorized changes.
Reporting:
* Define KPIs for the process.
* Generate reports for compliance and risk assessment.
What Do We Need From You?
* Understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, hardware, cloud, and software.
* Experience with configuration management and monitoring tools.
* Strong troubleshooting skills.
* Attention to detail and compliance.
* Effective communication skills.
* Knowledge of ITIL frameworks, especially configuration management.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Proficiency with ITSM tools.
* ITIL certification or relevant qualifications.
* Leadership skills to manage resources and priorities.
