Join SYSTRA Ltd as an Access Planner and play a key role in a busy team managing site works across the rail network. You'll be responsible for ensuring effective track access, inputting worksite and line blockages into Network Rail systems, and carrying out compatibility checks and planning meetings. You will be working in a small team providing site access primarily to the rail network. The team also manages the Principal Contractors licence for SYSTRA, plans and manages a range of surveys, and undertakes a range of other services for the business. Investigate likelihood of gaining Track Access at any locations Produce Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets Produce Safe Work Packs Assist with gu i dance on railway issues raised by all discipl i nes Attend Pre-Possess i on planning meetings where required Book and manage published l ine blockages and possess i ons/worksites through PPS, book and manage appropriate safety protection staff and track visitors permits Undertake safety critical duties – COSS and the site works supervision duties Manage Site Works on site where required Apply the procedures and systems to ensure the safety of staff, and others, affected by the operations of the Company Review Safe Work Packs from Company cl i ent(s) / sub-contractors where railway access i s provided outs i de of the Company's railway access plann i ng team Provide railway planning / safety expertise to the business.
