Fixed Term

Term Time Only, 43.89 weeks per year

We have an exciting opportunity for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning at Warton St Paul's C of E Primary Academy. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who is able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities. The successful candidate will join us at an exciting time in the life of our school and assist in meeting the personal, social and educational needs of our children.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, conscientious and creative Teaching Assistant, to join our committed and hardworking staff team, at an exciting time in the life of our school.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Working with the class teacher to deliver excellent teaching and learning
2. Coaching children on a 1:1 or group basis
3. To embrace and support our clear Christian values underpinning school life
4. Accompanying groups on trips
5. Supporting assessment and evidencing learning
6. Working with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources
7. Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners
8. Creating opportunities forall learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

18. GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above
19. Previous childcare experience
20. A proven ability to work on their own initiative
21. A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
22. The ability to use relevant technology/equipment
23. A can-do attitude
24. A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
