Due to an internal move, we are currently looking for a Clinical Development Specialist to join our Electrophysiology team and cover key accounts in the North UK region.
What you'll do:
1. Support strategic account plans with the Territory Manager and assist the sales team in driving trials and adoption of Abbott technology.
2. Provide on‑site technical support during installations and throughout trial phases.
3. Deliver LMR and clinical project activities.
4. Prioritise Tier 1 customer accounts, with secondary focus on Tier 2.
5. Develop and deliver tailored training programmes and product presentations; ensure smooth handover to local teams post‑trial.
6. Offer expert technical support to clinicians during Electrophysiology procedures and help onboard new centres.
7. Contribute to EP product promotion, education programmes, clinical training, and Abbott events.
8. Maintain strong technical and clinical knowledge of Abbott products, therapies, and market dynamics.
9. Monitor competitive landscape and share insights with Sales and Marketing.
10. Keep CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) updated with visit notes and relevant account information.
What you'll need:
11. Clinical experienced in EP either in NHS or in the industry
12. Degree preferably in Sciences or (Medical) Engineering
13. Holds or at the final stages of obtaining IBHRE/EHRA accreditation
14. Medical background is a plus
15. Knowledge of the local healthcare market
16. Familiarity with Cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol
17. Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology knowledge
18. Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to support Abbott's product technically and from a sales perspective
19. Strong Communication skills: verbal and written.
