The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the Telford area for Machine operators
The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and basic programming of machinery to produce high-quality components in line with engineering specifications and production targets.
Shift time:
rotating days and nights avaliable
Days:
Week 1 days Monday- Thursday 06:00-14:00 Friday 06:00-10:00
Week 2 days Monday - Thursday 14:00-22:00 Friday 10:0-14:00
Nights:
Monday - Thursday 21:00-06:00
Payrate :
£12.84 per hour ( negotiable depending on experience)
Machine Operative Duties:
* Set up and operate machines according to job specifications
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and job instructions
* Select, install, and adjust tooling and fixtures as required
* Run machine programs and make basic program edits or offsets when needed
* Monitor machine operations and production runs to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Identify and troubleshoot machine or program issues, reporting faults when necessary
* Maintain a clean and safe working area in line with health and safety standards
* Complete production documentation, recording measurements, output, and any deviations
* Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to meet production targets
Requirements
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering documentation
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to use measurement instruments
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
* Strong awareness of safety procedures and best practices
* Flexibility to work shifts or overtime when required
