IMH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Service Controller to support our client's team with scheduling & dispatching work electronically to individual trades operatives of Construction Services in Barnsley.
Duties
* Running job queues and booking repair appointments with customers in workers diaries.
* To electronically schedule, allocate & dispatch work to all operatives & liaise with operational managers & individual or groups of operatives to reschedule work in an efficient manner.
* To liaise with the contact centre & other colleagues to ensure emergency repairs are completed within timescales.
* To deal with sensitive information with regards to confidentiality, data protection & freedom of information.
* Dealing with customer enquiries.
* Relief Planner support.
* Call Handling.
Requirements:
* Demonstrate significant experience of working in a Repairs Service environment.
* Sound knowledge of operational procedures for providing a comprehensive repair & maintenance service.
* Ability to deal effectively with customers via telephone, online and in face-to-face situations.
* Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Demonstrate experience in the use of computerised work scheduling software, including knowledge of Works Management systems & software applications.
* To be willing to work outside normal office hours should the situation arise.
* 4 GCSE’s (Grade A – C) or equivalent qualification.
* Basic DBS required.
* A full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle is preferred but not essential.
Hours & Pay:
* Monday - Friday: 8AM-4PM. (must be flexible to work outside normal working hours on occasion).
* £14.40 Per Hour.
