About the Role:
We’re looking for skilled and reliable individuals to join a growing team in Moulton Park, Northampton, specialising in timber frame construction and furniture/cabinet making. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-equipped workshop producing high-quality timber-based products for residential and commercial projects.
Roles Available:
1. Timber Frame Construction Operative
*
Reading technical drawings and following construction plans
*
Assembling timber frame components with precision and care
*
Operating machinery such as saws, drills, and nail guns
*
Ensuring health & safety standards are followed at all times
*
Working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
2. Furniture & Cabinet Maker
*
Crafting bespoke furniture and cabinetry from raw timber materials
*
Cutting, shaping, and assembling wood to specified dimensions
*
Finishing and fitting components (hinges, handles, etc.)
*
Ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
*
Working on custom and batch production projects
What We’re Looking For:
*
Previous experience in a similar role (construction or joinery background preferred)
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
*
Good level of physical fitness and manual dexterity
*
Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
*
Own transport or ability to reliably get to Moulton Park
Desirable (not essential):
*
NVQ or equivalent qualification in Carpentry/Joinery
*
Forklift or machinery tickets
*
CSCS card (for any site-based timber frame roles)
