About The Role

The overall aim is to participate in raising and maintaining standards of education to students, by setting up and preparing lessons.


* Support teachers in delivering the national curriculum directly and indirectly.
* Supervise and guide others (including non-specialist teachers) in the operation of all equipment/machinery in the subject area, ensuring that operation is within statutory health and safety standards to fulfil the required standards of service delivery
* Supervise the set-up, test and preparation of apparatus, equipment, machinery, chemicals and/or materials following statutory health and safety requirements to support specific learning requirements within the delivery of the curriculum
* Ordering curriculum equipment where required ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
* Support the teacher in lessons where necessary.

37 hours per week/ 39 weeks per annum, Term time only / Permanent

Who We Are Looking For

An enthusiastic individual with a passion to provide the very best in support for our teachers and students. An individual who can work well on their own initiative as well as part of the wider team.

* GCSE in Sciences, Technology, English and Maths (or equivalent)
* Good standard of education, Incl literacy and numeracy.
* The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and parents.
