Solution Engineer - Salesforce, United Kingdom
AXA Retail is seeking a talented, passionate, and versatile Salesforce Engineer with a growth mindset and a commitment to technical excellence. You will be a key member of our agile development community, responsible for building and maintaining our Salesforce Ecosystem and its integration with our in-house insurance platform, adhering to industry best practices and standards. Starting September 2025, most of your work week will be from our office locations, visiting clients, or attending industry events. Responsibilities include:
* Developing solutions that meet quality, design, performance, and security standards
* Providing production support through incident investigation, triage, and resolution
* Thorough testing of solutions, emphasizing automated testing standards
* Creating and supporting custom Lightning web components, triggers, and scheduled batch jobs
* Participating in design reviews, code reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality and continuous improvement
* Taking collective ownership of the platform's stability and availability
* Collaborating with colleagues to share knowledge and foster community growth
Qualifications and skills:
* Experience in a Salesforce Engineering role with relevant certifications such as Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator
* Strong understanding of Clean Code practices, Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Salesforce best practices
* Adaptability and growth-oriented mindset to meet evolving platform and customer needs
* Proven experience across Salesforce Ecosystem including Sales, Service, and Experience clouds
* Passion for software development, demonstrated through blogging, open-source contributions, or tech event participation
* Excellent relationship-building skills with colleagues and stakeholders
* Innovative mindset to find optimal technical solutions
