Job Description
As a generalist HR Advisor, you will work closely with the Group HR Manager and wider leadership team to deliver a comprehensive and proactive HR service. You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of HR, ensuring a positive working environment and driving best practice across the organisation. The HR Advisor will be required to carry out a variety of tasks in order to support the day to day operations within the HR function.

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal, and written skills.
Support the Group HR Manager with ad hoc projects.
Possess a strong understanding of people management practices, HR policies and procedures as well as best practices to provide both management and employee support.
Handle queries in a prompt and diligent manner and escalate where necessary to the Group HR Manager.
Provide professional advice and guidance to managers and employees in line with HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
Full generalist HR responsibilities.
HR Policy creation & updates.
Strong attention to detail.
Provide HR administration, including note taking during meetings.
Support the employee full life cycle.
IT knowledge and understanding of HR systems (preferred but training will be given).
Strong organisation and time management skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to successfully perform this role. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities, would be acceptable.
Proven operational experience working in a HR Advisor position or equivalent is essential with a good knowledge of employment legislation.
Extensive experience working within a fast paced manufacturing/production environment.
CIPD qualification or equivalent.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of employment law and related legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
