Are you a Junior Maintenance Engineer from an electrical background looking for in-depth training on PLC Programming, working on highly complex Special Purpose Machinery with the goal of becoming an international Commissioning Engineer?
In this role you will be trained by senior Engineers on how to build, set-up, test, programme and commission a range of complex Special Purpose Machinery. Working from a Bedford-based workshop, you'll be learning on-the-job with the end goal of progressing into a role where you will work autonomously commissioning machines across the world.
This company supplies to over 80 countries worldwide, giving you the chance to truly travel the globe. They have carved out a profitable niche in a highly specialised industry, and currently have 50 staff. They recently moved into a new workshop and it's fully equipped with the latest manufacturing innovations.
This role would suit a Junior Maintenance Engineer from an Electrical background, such as an on-the-tools apprentice, who is looking to progress into a role where you'll be travelling internationally, staying away upto 50% of the year.
The Role:
* On-the-job training from senior Engineers
* Learning how to programme Omron PLC's
* Learning FAT and SAT procedures
* Direct progression to become an International Commissioning Engineer
* Travelling extensively across the UK and internationally
The Person:
* Junior Maintenance or Service Engineer
* Experience with Electrical equipment such as Servos, Drives, Sensors, Instruments, PLC's, Robotics
* UK Driving License
