We are currently recruiting two Quantity Surveying Officers to support the delivery of construction and property projects within a large public-sector environment. These roles will focus on cost management, procurement, and contract administration across a varied project portfolio.
The Role
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team, you will provide professional quantity surveying support from pre-contract through to post-contract stages. The role requires strong cost control, procurement knowledge, and the ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts
* Monitoring project spend and reporting against approved budgets
* Supporting tender and procurement processes in line with public procurement regulations
* Preparing Bills of Quantities, schedules of rates, and contract documentation
* Assessing and valuing contractor applications and variations
* Providing post-contract quantity surveying services
* Producing reports and cost information for senior stakeholders
* Working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and organisational procedures
