What you'll be doing?

The Customer Care team ensures home buyers receive the highest quality care following their home purchase.

In this customer-facing role, you'll ensure homes meet high standards by providing answers and practical help. Construction or building experience is preferred, but a passion for quality and professionalism is most important.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Care or Customer Care Office Manager, you'll support managing all customer-related issues to resolution, liaising with internal and external customers, and coordinating departmental administration for efficiency.

You Will Be Expected To

* Ensure compliance with SHE policies, prioritizing team safety.
* Adhere to Barratt Redrow Customer Care policies, handling issues professionally and promptly.
* Handle all contacts courteously and record issues accurately in the IT system.
* Coordinate coverage for telephone support throughout the day.
* Arrange inspections for remedial enquiries and warranty issues.
* Liaise with Site Management, Technicians, and Sub-contractors to complete remedial works efficiently and in line with warranties and SLAs.
* Communicate defect resolutions to the Head of Customer Care and manage performance issues.
* Use IT systems to manage defect resolution and report on performance.
* Coordinate with Commercial/Buying to order materials and manage contra-charges.
* Address customer inquiries professionally across departments.
* Provide administrative support, including correspondence, filing, and reporting.
* Attend internal meetings representing the department and advocating for customer interests.
* Conduct post-completion satisfaction calls and manage legacy complaints.
* Ensure subcontractors and suppliers adhere to SLAs and utilize contra-charge processes.
* Update and distribute weekly reports.
* Promote company values and policies.
* Perform other duties as required.
