We are seeking a News Reporter to join our London office. The role involves reporting on data protection, privacy, artificial intelligence, social media regulation, and other major legal and regulatory issues for Lexology PRO. Our coverage includes investigations, litigation, and policymaking impacting data, from GDPR investigations to global AI regulation reforms.
The Lexology PRO data team produces daily news and in-depth analysis for a global subscription base of law firms, corporations, regulators, and government bodies. This is a unique opportunity to report on critical topics affecting the tech industry and business worldwide. Our reporters are recognized experts who identify newsworthy stories from courts, policies, and relationships with legal and policy professionals. All team members have opportunities for international travel.
No specific experience in data protection or legal matters is required. However, candidates should be able to structure hard news stories, identify strong leads, and network with senior decision-makers. A journalism or legal qualification is preferred but not essential.
