Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic GP with excellent clinical and communication skills to join our friendly multi‑disciplinary team, support quality improvement, and contribute to the development of services for our patients.
Responsibilities
* Deliver continuity of care, owning a list of patients, including routine care, correspondence and prescribing.
* Work collaboratively with doctors, a medicine management team, clinical pharmacist, pharmacy technician, practice nurses, HCAs, administrative and reception staff to provide patient‑centred care.
* Participate in practice teaching and team meetings (mandatory Tuesdays).
* Support quality improvement projects, clinical leadership and your special interests.
* Assist in training clinical and non‑clinical staff and support medical student placements.
* Contribute to management of admin workload and maintain efficient documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience using the EMIS electronic health record system.
* Registered with the GMC and current BMA membership.
* Clinical competence appropriate for a salaried GP in primary care.
