The Role:
Knowledge & Information Management (KIM) Coordinator
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented KIM Coordinator to lead the development and optimisation of our enterprise knowledge systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that operational and technical information is structured, secure, and accessible—especially in support of Maximo users and processes.
You'll be supporting both Armada and MOD Corsham PFIs, delivering high-quality information services, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving innovation in knowledge management.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Management
1. Develop and implement knowledge management strategies and frameworks.
2. Maintain and enhance knowledge repositories.
3. Promote a knowledge-sharing culture across teams.
4. Design and manage documentation standards, templates, and taxonomies.
5. Maintain physical and digital resource collections.
6. Advise on Intellectual Property Rights and version control.
Maximo Support
7. Provide functional support and troubleshooting for Maximo users.
8. Collaborate with IT and operations to optimise workflows.
9. Create user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
Information Governance
10. Ensure compliance with data governance policies.
11. Audit knowledge assets for quality and consistency.
12. Manage permissions and access controls.
13. Deliver insights and reporting using Power BI.
Stakeholder Engagement
14. Engage with users across the business to understand knowledge needs.
15. Facilitate workshops and training sessions.
16. Act as a bridge between technical teams and end-users.
Additional Opportunities (Depending on Experience)
17. Lead and coordinate knowledge management projects.
18. Deliver training and briefings to Mitie staff and clients.
19. Analyse research and produce practitioner-focused summaries.
20. Contribute to the management of Mitie's ICT infrastructure.
