Overview
+ To assist with the provision of Cardio-Respiratory services throughout the Trust and partnership agencies and to ensure the delivery of a high standard of service for both routine and emergency work. The post holder will have a broad range of skills across the entire service but provide highly specialised supervision of a particular area within that service. Service lead physiologists will be expected to continually consolidate and expand their skills by formal and informal means, constantly updating their knowledge in line with local and national policy. A commitment to participation in the relevant societies and local and national groups and committees is essential. The Cardio-Respiratory Department provides a high-quality service for basic and advanced cardiac and respiratory diagnostic investigations. A 24/7 service is provided for basic investigations such as ECG and spirometry which is provided by Senior ATOs and Assistant Practitioners.
