Our clients large, lively nursery in the heart of Wakefield is searching for a full‑time Early Years Practitioner to join our 2-3s team. This room is where personalities explode, independence grows, and curiosity is absolutely unstoppable - and we want someone who thrives in that kind of joyful chaos.
What You'll Be Doing
Creating a warm, engaging, and safe environment where children feel confident to explore
Supporting children's development through play, conversation, and meaningful interactions
Working closely with an Early Years Educator, who leads on planning, curriculum delivery, and ensuring the room's practice meets the highest standards
Bringing ideas, energy, and creativity to a room that never has a dull moment
Building strong relationships with families and colleagues
Being part of a well‑established, friendly team in a nursery that's always buzzing
About the Early Years Educator You'll Work With
You'll be teamed up with an experienced Early Years Educator who takes the lead on curriculum planning, observations, and ensuring the room's learning environment is inspiring and developmentally rich. They'll guide the direction of the room, and you'll work alongside them to bring those plans to life - from sensory play to small‑group activities to those magical "lightbulb" learning moments.

What We're Looking For
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
