We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate must have strong communication, be able to work well in a team and will support the pharmacist in the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of prescriptions, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high professional standards. Previous experience in pharmacy preferred with NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or working towards) desirable. However, we will consider enthusiastic applicants with a medical or healthcare background. Training will be provided.
Duties include:
• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription items under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Label, assemble, and check prescriptions in line with legal and company procedures
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients and customers
• Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and rotating stock
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements
• Support the pharmacist with administrative tasks and record keeping
• Promote health services and over-the-counter products where appropriate
• Ensure the dispensary and work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant
