Brief Outline
• A well established and growing company in the refurbishment and fire protection market requires a Contracts Manager to oversee projects, largely in the commercial and new build sectors, permanently within the London and South East region, with further work across the UK.
• The role is offering a competitive salary and package and the potential to progress to a more senior position within the company’s operations team.
• The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the project and its progress.
About our Client
• The client are based in Essex and have been active in the refurbishment and fire protection market for over 40 years.
• Services they provide include; Full Refurbishments, Planned and Reactive Maintenance, Strip Out and Structural Alterations, Passive fire protection and Fire doors amongst other related areas.
• The company turnover circa £15Mill and have a strong pipeline of large projects for the year ahead.
About the Role
Duties will include:
• Responsibility for day to day management of allocated portfolio of projects.
• Responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on a time and budget.
• To liaise and maintain a good working relationship with Clients, Surveyors, other Project Managers and attend site meetings.
• Ensure all works are carried out under health and safety guidelines.
• Assist Surveyors and other Senior Management in the overall planning and management of projects.
About the Candidate
• Previous experience in management of large-scale PFP projects across multiple sites
• FIRAS / NVQ / equivalent qualification
• Commercially aware
