Key Responsibilities:
As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to a broad and varied client portfolio. You will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, leading junior team members and supporting management to maintain exceptional service standards. This is a diverse and client-facing position, ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, providing insightful recommendations, and adding commercial value beyond compliance.
* Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
* Lead, mentor, and review the work of junior auditors, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients by developing a deep understanding of their business operations and challenges.
* Communicate audit progress, findings, and objectives clearly to both management and clients throughout each stage of the process.
* Keep up to date with the latest accounting and auditing standards, ensuring best practice is applied consistently.
Experience and Skills Required:
* Professionally qualified, for example ACCA, ACA, or ICAS (or Part-Qualified).
* A minimum of two years' experience working within an accountancy practice in a similar role.
* Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards.
